⁠ The Ndebele people in Bulawayo are unique in their own way, there is no need to overshadow bulawayo by the constant comparison and mention of South Africa real ndebeles who are not insecure will tell you they are unique in their own way and they don’t need to be mentioned in the same light as Zulus to be relevant, some people will make it sound as though they are just copycats really impersonating and immitating South Africans, i understand some ndebeles do that but really most of them are their own people but maybe you needed a more open minded person someone who really knows the history of Bulawayo and the people who live in Bulawayo to talk a bit about Bulawayo clearly that first girl is clueless and she seems to have a few issues of her own. Its a pity really that the level of friendliness significantly drops once you go that side, i mean clearly everything is run from Harare there is no comparison to be honest but you don’t see hararians claiming that Harare belongs to them and that they are a different people in any way, there are different kinds of people in bulawayo from the shonas to the ndebeles to the the tongas as well meaning its diverse and it was never a city for a specific people, the Tongas there regard it as their city, and the same implies to the shonas and Ndebeles situated in the BULAWAYO METROPOLITAN PROVINCE, but this is what happens when you pick a weird random girl with a currupted mindset to talk about a zimbabwean city. Just wish they could be more friendly and welcoming to people, just look at Kundai all the way from Harare singing a Kenyan song with Trudy, thats what we want to see, africans embracing each other regardless of cultural differences. Having said that, the second girl with a white vest top is really nice and truthful too, she was like yeah we use rands but we also use US dollars and the Zimbabwean ZIG as well.
